A Moroccan Feast...24.11.11

This evening I had my mum over for dinner. I'd planned a few days before to make all things Morrocan..cous cous, hummus, falafel, olives, sun dried tomatoes...and so here it is..our Moroccan feast!..well for two..

Everything was home made apart from the falafel which I'd bought from a local deli that makes fresh falafel, it'd been in the fridge for a couple of days and was the inspiration for the Moroccan theme. Oh and the pittas weren't home made either, they were from a little ethical shop just round the corner from me called New Roots, and the little dish of salad was from an allotment space in Sheffield called the Huerta, an organic growing space where all are welcome, especially to try the salads too.

I was pretty full after a plate full (and a little more nibbles!) but after a couple of hours I felt I definately had room for something sweet..a few squares of dark chocolate..yum!
